LAKELAND, GA —The Lanier County Health Department is excited to invite the community to a grand opening celebration for its new facility at 114 South Oak Street in Lakeland, GA.
The celebration will take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, from noon to 2:00 PM and will feature food, gift card and prize giveaways, building tours, and more.
Additionally, Rico’s Tacos will be on-site, and the first 50 guests who participate in a tour will receive a $5 voucher toward their purchase.
“We are excited to welcome the community into our new space,” said Lauren Lee, RN, BSN, Lanier County Nurse Manager. “This facility was designed with our patients in mind, and we can’t wait for everyone to see how it will help us provide even better care.”
The new location is part of the Georgia Department of Public Health’s South Health District effort to improve public health services and to make healthcare more accessible for our communities. The facility was built with the community in mind, creating a more comfortable space where people can receive the care they need in a welcoming and modern setting.
Community members are encouraged to attend the grand opening celebration to tour the new facility and learn more about the services offered.
