Perinatal Case Management

The Georgia Department of Public Health’s South Health District is proud to offer Perinatal Case Management as part of our Perinatal Health program.

Perinatal Case Management is a voluntary Medicaid program that pays for a case manager to assist pregnant people with identifying her special needs during pregnancy. The case manager then works with the pregnant person to help find ways to meet those needs.

This service is offered with no out of pocket cost to the pregnant person and is also provided by the Case Management Organization (WellCare, Peach State, CareSource and Amerigroup).

Contact your local health department to learn more about our perinatal programs.
