To expand the ways in which we serve our communities, Irwin, Ben Hill and Turner County Health Departments are now offering lab draw services. Appointments are HIGHLY recommended.

LAB HOURS:

The following lab draws can be performed during our lab hours per your doctor’s orders: CMP, CBC, LIPID, TSH panel, (TSH, T3, T4 uptake) PSA, Hepatitis Panel, Acute with Reflex, Amylase, Ana Screen, IF A with Reflex titer and Pattern, C-Reactive Protein (CRP), Ferritin, Folate Serum, GGT, Iron and Total Iron Binding Capacity, Lipase, MMR, Rheumatoid Factor, Sed Rate, Testosterone, Total Males (adult), Vitamin B12 Folate, Serum Panel Vitamin D, HgBA1C. We recommend fasting for at least 8 hours before some labs.

All lab orders must include the ordering physician’s name, address, and fax number. Results are faxed by the lab to the ordering physician within 48-72 hours. The requesting physician will be responsible for acknowledging and reviewing results as well as medical follow up. Lab draws are sent to Lab Corp and/or Quest Diagnostics for processing. In accordance with HIPPA, the patient will be required at the time of enrollment to sign a consent allowing the clinic to retain a copy of the lab results.

Lab draws are being offered at a competitive price. Cash and debit/card payments are accepted. Fees are due at the time of service. Insured patients will only pay lab draw fee. The lab company will bill the insurance for the actual labs.
