Cook_Co_HDWelcome to Cook County Health Department! We are one of ten county health departments in the South Health District, a district within the Georgia Department of Public Health. Our mission is to promote and protect the health and well being of anyone that lives, works or plays in Cook County.

Our services are available to everyone regardless of age, race, religion, national origin, political belief, disability or sex. We charge only minimal fees for our services, and some services have adjusted fee scales based on ability to pay. Our accepted forms of payment are cash, check, some credit/debit cards, and insurance: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid (PeachState, AmeriGroup & WellCare), Medicare, and State Health Benefit Plan (BCBS).

All medical records are kept confidential. We will not release any of your medical information without first obtaining a signed authorization from you.
