Update 8/2/22: Jynneos vaccine (Monkeypox vaccine) will be available only at Lowndes County Health Department beginning Friday, August 5, 2022 due to a limited supply. At this time, our health departments do not have general Jynneos (Monkeypox vaccine) availability. Vaccine supply is extremely limited across the United States currently.

Testing for Monkeypox is available in our health departments. Please call your local health department for testing availability before coming to the clinic.

Jynneos vaccine will initially be prioritized for those at high risk, 18 years or older, are symptom free and fit into one of the following categories:

• People who have been identified by public health officials as a contact of someone with monkeypox
• People who are aware that one of their sexual partners in the past 2 weeks has been diagnosed with monkeypox
• People who had multiple sexual partners in the past 2 weeks in an area with known monkeypox

Vaccines will be offered at no out-of-pocket expense; however, insurance will be billed for those insured.
