Community Health and Resource Day Coming to Nashville

Nashville, GA – The Georgia Department of Public Health’s South Health District is excited to offer a Community Health and Resource Day on February 22, from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Family Connection in Nashville, located at 1035 Exum Street.

This event aims to promote the health and well-being of the community by offering a range of valuable services and resources. Attendees will have the opportunity to avail themselves of complimentary health screenings, including blood pressure checks, glucose checks, and cholesterol checks. The event will also feature a variety of health supplies, community resources, and informative materials to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health.

Public Health is partnering with SGMC Health Berrien, Family Connection of Berrien County, LifeSouth Community Blood Centers and the City of Nashville Georgia to hold event.

In addition to health-focused offerings, the Community Health and Resource Day will provide a wealth of information on various health topics, ensuring that attendees leave with a better understanding of how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

“This event is free and open to the public, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals and families to access vital health information and resources,” said Health Equity Navigator Ambreshia Allen. “We hope you will join us as we come together to prioritize community health and well-being in Berrien County.”
