Visiting Walmart soon and making your shopping list? Be sure to add a flu shot to it!
In Fitzgerald and Valdosta, local health departments are hosting flu clinics at local Walmart stores until the end of the year. Schedules vary at each store so be sure to call your health department or check out the calendars below. (Note: Tift County Health Department has completed their series of Walmart Flu Clinics for 2013.)
Flu vaccine is available for anyone 19 years or older. The cost for seasonal flu vaccine is $25 if not covered by your insurance; high-dose flu vaccine is $35 and available to anyone 65 years or older (high-dose is available in Valdosta only).
Payment may be made by cash or check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or the following insurance providers: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, State of Georgia Health Benefit Plans (Cigna and United Healthcare), Medicaid, and Medicare.
