Healthy Together Program Accepting Applicants

The Healthy Together Program is a collaborative effort between South Health District’s Adolescent Health program and the Lowndes County Commission on Children/Youth (LCCY) to provide an opportunity for parents/youth who are at high risk of Type 2 Diabetes.  The program will feature a curriculum-based interactive effort involving exercise, healthy eating, and nutrition education.  Program activities will include, but are not limited to: virtual/in-person education, food preparation seminars, and physical activity classes.

Program participation is limited to only parents of youth ages 12-16 and both parties must enroll and agree to participate.  For more information or to participate in the program, please complete the interest form below and a representative will reach out to schedule an interest interview.
