Our Objectives
The objectives of the Tift Teen Health Clinic are:
- To ultimately reduce the number of unintended pregnancies to teens, decreasing their dependence on state and federally provided monies.
- To provide an educated staff to assist teens in making responsible decisions regarding family planning.
- To create a teen-friendly clinic with accessible hours to teens and their parents.
- To provide case management for every teen actively seen by the center and involve them in activities for teens.
- To provide outreach to all teens within the surrounding counties.
- To educate parents by offering classes and counseling to aid in strengthening communication with their teens.
- To spread the word that abstinence is the single best way to avoid an unintended pregnancy and to avoid sexually transmitted diseases.
